Publication Ethics

Journal of Applied Psychology and Health Studies is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure that all parties involved in the publishing process—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—adhere to ethical principles.

  1. Duties of Authors
  • Authors must ensure that their work is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been published elsewhere or under consideration in another journal.
  • All sources used in the manuscript must be properly cited.
  • Authors should disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research.
  • Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the study.
  1. Duties of Editors
  • Editors are responsible for making fair and impartial decisions on submitted manuscripts, based solely on scholarly merit and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Editors must maintain confidentiality of all manuscripts and ensure a double-blind peer review process.
  • Editors should avoid any conflict of interest with respect to manuscripts under consideration.
  1. Duties of Reviewers
  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.
  • Reviewers should maintain confidentiality of the review process and not use information from the manuscript for personal advantage.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest that might bias their evaluation.
  1. Duties of the Publisher
  • The publisher ensures that editorial decisions are independent and free from external influence.
  • The publisher supports editors and reviewers in handling ethical issues, such as plagiarism, research misconduct, or disputes regarding authorship.
  • The publisher is committed to maintaining the integrity of the academic record.

Cases of research misconduct, plagiarism, or unethical behavior will be investigated following COPE guidelines, and appropriate action—including retraction of published articles—will be taken if necessary.
