Plagiarism Policy

Journal of Applied Psychology and Health Studies upholds a strict policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be the original work of the author(s) and free from any form of plagiarism, duplication, or falsification.

  1. Plagiarism Check
    • Every manuscript is screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process.
    • Similarity levels above 20% (excluding references, quotations, and bibliography) may result in immediate rejection or a request for revision.
  2. Forms of Plagiarism
The following practices are considered unacceptable:
    • Directly copying another work without proper citation.
    • Paraphrasing substantial parts of another work without acknowledgment.
    • Self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own previously published work without disclosure).
    • Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously (duplicate submission).
  3. Handling Plagiarism
    • If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.
    • If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted, and an official notice will be published in the journal.
    • Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be blacklisted from future submissions.
  4. Author’s Responsibility
Authors must ensure that all ideas, words, or data derived from other sources are properly cited or quoted. The editorial team reserves the right to check manuscripts at any stage of the publishing process.

This policy is consistent with the ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is intended to maintain the integrity and credibility of scholarly publishing.
