Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Applied Psychology and Health Studies undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The review procedure is designed to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
1. Initial Screening
Each submission is first reviewed by the editorial team to assess its compliance with the journal’s guidelines, focus, and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements or contain significant similarity issues will be returned to the authors without external review.
2. Double-Blind Review
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The double-blind system ensures that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process.
3. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, theoretical and practical contributions, and relevance to applied psychology and health studies. Constructive feedback is provided to guide authors in improving their work.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor-in-chief makes one of the following decisions: accept, accept with minor revisions, revise and resubmit (major revisions), or reject. Authors are informed of the decision along with the reviewers’ comments.
5. Revision and Resubmission
Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ suggestions and resubmit within the given timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers to ensure that all issues have been addressed satisfactorily.
6. Final Decision and Publication
The editorial board makes the final decision regarding acceptance for publication. Once accepted, the manuscript will proceed to the copyediting, proofreading, and production stages before online publication.
The journal is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and timely review process to uphold the integrity and quality of scholarly publishing.
