Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Quiz Matematika Interaktif Berbasis Web Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinunukan

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics learning media that are valid, effective, and practical, as well as capable of improving students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities through web-based learning. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class X IPA 1. The development process focused on creating interactive and accessible web-based learning media designed to facilitate students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and enhance their ability to solve problems systematically.The results indicate that the developed media met the expected objectives. In terms of validity, the learning media were categorized as very valid based on expert validation, with a percentage score of 88.75% from material experts and 82.08% from media experts. Regarding effectiveness, the media were considered very effective, as evidenced by students’ learning completeness reaching 88%. In addition, the practicality of the media was demonstrated through positive responses from both teachers and students, with percentages of 84.28% and 85.71%, respectively, indicating that the media were very practical for classroom use. Furthermore, the improvement in students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities was categorized as moderate, with n-gain values ranging from 0.30 to 0.70. Therefore, the developed web-based learning media can be considered valid, effective, and practical in supporting mathematics learning and enhancing students’ problem-solving skills
