Tinjauan Gratifikasi di Perguruan Tinggi Dalam Perspektif Sosiologi Hukum
Abstract
In the perspective of sociological law, the phenomenon of gratification in tertiary institutions can be seen as a problem that involves several factors and actors. This phenomenon does not only involve individuals who receive gratuities, but also actors who provide gratuities and the public who are protected by this phenomenon. Gratification, which is part of the crime of corruption, must be addressed and the chaos decided. The purpose of this research is to provide a better understanding of the phenomenon of gratification in tertiary institutions and to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining the integrity of educational institutions to create a quality and dignified generation. This research is a qualitative research using observational data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The subjects of this study were active students from tertiary institutions in the city of Bandung. The results of the research show that there are still many students who have not seen or experienced the phenomenon of gratification directly. However, respondents' awareness of the dangers of gratification is very high. Gratification phenomena can undermine integrity and professionalism which affect the quality of education in higher education.
